Ultimate Eminem 'Stan' Sets World Record With 16 Portrait Tattoos of Rapper

Eminem has found his ultimate "Stan" in Nikki Patterson. The 35-year-old from Scotland has set the Guinness World Record for "the most tattoos of the same musician tattooed on the body."

Patterson is covered in tattoos, and according to CNN, she has 54 in total with 28 being Eminem-themed and a total of 16 tattoos of the rapper's face (which is what she earned the world record for).

Nikki became an Eminem fan as a teenager after hearing the rapper's song "Stan" for the first time. She explained to CNN, "I literally fell in love with him and the song. I had never heard anything like this before. I showed it to my dad. Obviously, there was lots of swearing."

After attending multiple Eminem concerts and collecting merch like t-shirts, hoodies and posters, at 19, Nikki got a tattoo of a backwards "E" for the rapper, and now, she is covered in tattoos dedicated to him.

Nikki shows off all of her tattoos on her Instagram account, and often uses Eminem lyrics as her captions. And although she's received a lot of support on her ink, she's also received some not so nice remarks from some people on the internet — but she isn't letting that get to her. In one Instagram post, she explained in a lengthy note:

"I’m just a girl in the UK who went from hearing Stan for the first time at 14 years old to having Inked Mag, Fox News, NME etc writing articles about me. I made that happen. I work my ass off running my own business so that I can pay for my ink. I spend hours sat in the tattooists chair in pain. I pick the best artists which means I have spent hours travelling. I made the Guinness World Record happen all on my own. I applied for it, I found the dermatologist, I made the whole process happen. I have the balls to put myself out here despite the fact that I get ridiculed daily. So yes, I am f***ing proud of it. And it’s about as pointless as how many hotdogs you can eat in 30 seconds. I have a dream. I’m chasing that dream until the day I die. Can you say that???"

So, who is Nikki outside of her tattoos and Eminem Standom? Well, as she explained on social media, "I’m still just a mum and a nail technician who watches The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills when she has a spare moment."
