In partnership with the Dakia U-Ventures investment group, Universal Music Group announced plans for music-based hotel properties in Biloxi, as well as Atlanta, Georgia and Orlando, Florida in a press release on the company's official website.

The UMusic Broadwater Hotel will be a waterfront venue that features a large exterior screen facing a marina, an indoor concert hall, the Hard Rock Biloxi and other casino properties, according to renderings shared by the company.
