John Travolta Honors Late Wife Kelly Preston On Her Birthday

In July of 2020, Kelly Preston passed away at 57-years-old after a private battle with breast cancer. Three months after her tragic passing, her husband of 29 years, John Travolta, honored his late wife on what would've been her 58th birthday.
"Happy Birthday hon!" Travolta wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo from his wedding to Kelly alongside a shot from his parent's nuptials. "I found this photo of my mom and dad‘s wedding. It was nice to see ours alongside theirs. All my love, John."
While Travolta and his two children, Ella and Benjamin, have largely remained out of the public eye since Preston's passing, this isn't the first time the Grease actor has mourned his wife on social media. Shortly after her death Travolta shared a photo of his wife on Instagram, writing: “It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.”
“Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered,” he continued.”I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while.But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal."
One month after Preston's passing, Travolta and his 20-year-old daughter Ella shared a special dance in her memory. Travolta posted the video on Instagram, as well, telling his followers: “My daughter [Ella} and I dancing in memory of momma." He added that “dancing with me” was “one of Kelly’s favorite things.”
