Taylor Swift fan is thanking the superstar for making her “dream come true.”

Vitoria Mario, a student studying math at the University of Warwick, received the best surprise this month when she received a generous donation from the “Cardigan” singer to help cover her living expenses. Swift contributed a whopping £23,373 (approximately $30,237) to the GoFundMe page started for the 18-year-old, who expressed her gratitude to the superstar for easing her financial anxiety.

“It’s just a relief to finally be here, I feel like I don’t have to worry about the next year and whether it’s going to happen or not,” Mario told the Coventry Telegraph. “Another girl came to Warwick from my sixth form as well so I already had a friend, but I’ve made new ones too. … To finally be here is a dream come true."

“I’m joining a gym and I’m been settling in the halls. I’m on the top floor and it’s really calm,” she added.

Coming from a low-income household, Mario has faced a number of unfortunate and challenging predicaments throughout her life, from having to learn English from scratch to losing her father when she was 10 to leaving her family behind in her native Portugal to study in London. According to the publication, Mario is considered an EU student by the Student Loans Company and is only covered for tuition fees, not for living costs over the four-year course.

In hopes of Swift receiving her message of gratitude for the donation, Mario took to Twitter with an emotional video thanking the 30-year-old musician. “Thank you so much, Taylor, for your big impact on my life and for being so generous and so kind toward me,” the teenager says in the clip, encouraging fellow Swifties to spread the word by tagging the Grammy winner.

Swift eventually responded, and praised Mario after hearing her remarkable story and for making "incredible grades" in school. “Vitoria!! Your video just made my day. You worked so hard to get those incredible grades and it was an honor to have some part in your journey,” Swift tweeted in response. “Let’s find a way to meet when it’s safe to! So proud of you.”
