SHAED has returned with new music. Over the last year, the band has been working on their debut album, and now they are sharing their first taste of the project via its first single "No Other Way."

"No Other Way" follows SHAED's hit song "Trampoline" and several other songs released last year, and is produced by the band and 2x GRAMMY Award-winning producer Ariel Rechtshaid (HAIM, Vampire Weekend, Adele, Carly Rae Jepsen). The track is an anthem about appreciating living in the moment, even through challenging times, featuring lyrics like, "We could die a million ways, but we’re alive another day."

In a press release, the band said of their new song, "These past 6 months have been a struggle for us all, filled with anxiety, disappointment, and uncertainty. We wrote this song as a reminder to live in the moment, which is the only thing we can control."

And in a note to fans shared on Twitter, SHAED also shared of their new music:

"Like everyone, our lives were turned upside down 8 months ago and as a family, we've been searching for the upside. We locked ourselves away and began writing an album that encompasses all of the fears, anxieties and emotions that have consumed us all. The first single off our album reflects how we have tried to stay positive, present and not be afraid to break out in a dance party when everything feels out of control! We can't wait to share this next chapter with you."

SHAED's forthcoming debut album is set to be released on April 16, 2021. A music video for "No Other Way" is also expected to be released soon.
