Chrissy Teigen has broken her silence since announcing her pregnancy loss.
Weeks after the 34-year-old broke the devastating news of her miscarriage in an emotionally-charged Instagram post, the model returned to social media on Friday (October 16) to let fans how she and her husband John Legend are coping after losing their third child, son Jack.
“We are quiet but we are okay. Love you all so much,” Teigen wrote on Instagram last night along with a screenshot of a lengthy tribute Legend posted to Twitter after dedicating Wednesday’s Billboard Music Awards performance to his grieving wife.
“This is for Chrissy,” the “Wild” crooner tweeted. “I love and cherish you and our family so much. We’ve experienced the highest highs and lowest lows together. Watching you carry our children has been so moving and humbling.”
More than anything, we’ve heard so many stories about how so many other families have experienced this pain, often suffering in silence. It’s a club no one wants to be a part of, but it’s comforting to know we’re not alone.

Teigen’s post came just hours after her husband spoke on their pregnancy loss for the first time earlier that day. In his heartfelt note to his wife, Legend expressed, “More than anything, we’ve heard so many stories about how so many other families have experienced this pain, often suffering in silence. It’s a club no one wants to be a part of, but it’s comforting to know we’re not alone.”
As fans know, the married couple, who also share daughter Luna, 4, and son Miles, 2, announced their baby news in August.
On September 27, Teigen was rushed to the hospital after suffering excessive bleeding from her placenta and experiencing a “huge blood clot” during her pregnancy that required her to receive blood transfusions. Three days later, Teigen announced that baby Jack did not survive.
