Karaoke is Back! Arizona Bars Allowed To Play Games Again, No Dancing Yet

Arizona bars are allowed to offer games, karaoke, and even axe throwing again. However, dancing is still not allowed.
This change comes as the state Department of Health Services has decided that these activities can now be allowed again if certain precautions are taken, such as the requirement of facial coverings and social distancing.
The activities had previously been forbidden for months due to the global pandemic and the efforts made to prevent the spread of the virus.
Pinal Central reports that there have been no major changes that have taken place to the agency's "dashboard" that determines restrictions on business, which has left some questioning why these activities are allowed again.
Governor Doug Ducey and the state Health Director Cara Christ are defending themselves in court against a lawsuit by over 100 bar owners stating that their rules against bars are "unlawfully discriminatory."
Restaurants have been able to open and operate fairly normally for months with some limitations, but bars were not allowed to open or host any of their traditional activities that customers love.
Attorney Ilan Wurman, who represents the bar owners, says that there are still unjustified restrictions on how his clients can do business, especially in comparison to what some places licensed as restaurants have been able to do.
However, Wurman says that the changes will make a difference. "It's a huge deal," he said.
He says that that this move will level the playing field and allow facilities licensed as bard to compete head-to-head.

So are pool and darts. Also video games and pinball.
And you can even participate in axe throwing if that's your thing. https://t.co/FENPzzs8sw
