Man Driving Motorized Recliner On South Flores Street Is Puro San Antonio

Juan Gamez proves that you really can ride around San Antonio in comfort. Gamez, owner of Tito's Auto Body Shop, is the star of a now viral video because of his unique ride.

"Estas bien loco," Elizabeth Peralez Garza is heard saying on the video after Gamez pulls into the parking lot of Elizabeth Hair & Co. on South Flores Street. Garza shared the video on her personal Facebook page last week.

Gamez added a go-kart motor and wheels to a recliner with four clown heads on the back. He even included a handbrake to slow down the insane-looking ride.

The chair scooter probably isn't the safest thing to take out on a San Antonio street, but you got to give a man credit for his comfortable-looking vehicle. It looks like a convenient way to get to H-E-B or do other quick errands.

Gamez has been compared to Nathan Apodaca because of how cool he looks driving around with a Mama Margie's cup in one hand, but Gamez isn't a TikTok knockoff. He's puro San Antonio.

Garza summed it up pretty well as Gamez gets back on the road: "Only on the South Side."
