Alex Kack was the real star of the Green Shirt Guy viral video from a Tucson city council meeting last year, but the woman he is laughing at is now in the news for another reason.
Jennifer Harrison, the woman screaming "respect our laws" in the video, has been charged with identity theft. She is accused of using her former in-law's hotel points without their permission, fraudulently accessing her former mother-in-law's AT&T account, and forging a press credential to access an event with Donald Trump, Jr. at Grand Canyon University, the Arizona Republic reported.
She was arrested in October 2019 by the Surprise Police Department and "created a scene at the (police department) and in the booking room because she believes she is above the law and does not want to be treated like a criminal," according to documents obtained by the newspaper. She was charged last month with one count of identity theft.
Carol Harrison, Jennifer Harrison's ex-mother-in-law, believes that Jennifer "used all the points she could" to book a hotel stay last year in California for a music festival. Jennifer was no longer married to Carol's son at the time and did not have permission to use the account.
Surprise police also investigated Jennifer Harrison for accessing Carol's AT&T account, and a police report mentions that Jennifer Harrison did not make payments on the phone or its monthly charges. The police report also verify claims about the forged press credential.
Jennifer Harrison wrote a Facebook post on Wednesday saying she's innocent and "if ever there were a time in my life where I trusted nobody, it's right now."
Asides from the Green Shirt Guy video, Harrison is best known for her involvement with the hate group Patriot Movement AZ.
If found guilty of identity theft, Harrison faces up to three years in prison, the Phoenix New Times reported.
