New music from Lady A is coming! The band revealed that they've been hard at work on new music over the last several months, while in quarantine, during their set at the 2020 iHeartCountry Festival.

Happy to be back on stage again, the band said, "It feels so good to be on stage with you, to be on stage with our band. We do not take this for granted." Then, they performed "You Look Good," "What If I Never Get Over You," "Bartender" and their 2009 classic hit "Need You Now."

Before performing "Need You Now," the trio reflected on the song and revealed that they've been working on new music. They explained, "This song is a really, really special song for us. We released this back in '09, and it definitely opened up a lot of doors for us, and we just continue to try to write and make music that speaks to you guys out there. We're working on some new music as we speak. That's what we've been doing this quarantine is doing a lot of songwriting, and spending a lot of time with family."

Lady A finished their set with their Songland track "Champagne Night," and Hillary Scott said of the song, "It felt like the perfect song to put out in the midst of quarantine. I don't know about you, but whether it's working from home, homeschooling your kids — it's all full time jobs. And, I've needed a song to kind of get me through from when the coffee stops, and the cocktails start. And this song has been that for me."

Ahead of their performance, backstage during an interview with iHeartRadio's Amy Brown, the band revealed that these last few months have been the longest they've been apart. Lady A's Charles Kelley explained:

"It was really interesting. I mean, we even had shot the video for 'Champagne Night' at the beginning of the quarantine. And just at that time, I remember thinking, 'Oh, this'll be two months and we'll all be back together, moving on with our lives.' But we've learned a lot this year, we've been writing a lot this year over Zoom. So that was, you know, even though we didn't physically see each other in the same room, we did get to see each other's faces. And we obviously had a lot of interaction through this time, but it's nice to just get back to what we do and what we're used to doing."
