President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence are slated to make appearances in Michigan this week, the week leading up to Election Day.

Trump will hold the Make America Great Again Victory Rally at the Capital Region International Airport, located at 3121 W. Circle Drive in Lansing, on Tuesday (October 27) at 2 p.m., with doors opening at 11 a.m.

The rally, one week before Election Day, will mark Trump’s third Michigan visit, CBS Detroit noted.

Anyone interested in attending can register two tickets per cell phone number on a first come, first served basis. Attendees will note that they understand risks of exposure to COVID-19 upon registration, according to the event registration page.

The following day, Pence will hold a Make America Great Again rally in Flint.

That event will take place at Bishop International Airport at 7 p.m. on Wednesday (October 28), Local4 reported.

Millions of Michigan voters opted for absentee ballots this year. Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson recently recommended returning absentee ballots in person rather than mailing them to avoid any potential postal service delays. Any absentee ballots received after 8 p.m. on November 3 can’t be counted.

Attorney General Dana Nessel also urged Michiganders to vote, taking to social media with a Halloween-themed election message.

Michigan residents can still register to vote through November 3. They can still request absentee ballots through November 2.
