The 2020 general election is approaching its final days. If you haven't already mailed in your ballot or you're concerned you might not make it to the polls on Election Day (November 3), here's everything you need to know about early voting before it ends this weekend.

Florida offers early voting until Sunday, November 1. That means you can cast your vote before Election Day by either dropping of your vote-by-mail ballot at an official ballot drop box or casting your vote in-person at designated polling places.

If you're planning on voting in-person be sure to bring a photo ID. If you can't present one at your polling place you will have to vote and sign on a provisional ballot, which election officials will match against the signature on record before counting your vote.

Keep in mind that there may be long wait times when voting in-person. Make sure you don't have any other commitments or appointments scheduled close to when you're voting. It may be worth while to bring along a book, headphones, or a snack to pass the time. You can also use this time to brush up on ballot measures you'll be voting on.

Below is a list of polling places that are currently open for early voting in the Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Each polling place is open every day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. until Sunday, November 1. Happy voting!
