Chrissy Teigen Reveals Tattoo In Honor Of The Son She Lost

Chrissy Teigen got the most beautiful tattoo as she continues to honor the memory of the baby she lost in her pregnancy.

During a romantic date night with her husband John Legend on Saturday night (October 31), Teigen gave her Instagram followers a glimpse at a sentimental tattoo inside her right wrist, which reveals the word “Jack.”

The photo, posted to the model’s Instagram Stories, also shows another tattoo on her arm which reveals the names “John,” “Luna,” and “Miles” as a tribute to her husband and their two children, 4-year-old daughter Luna and 2-year-old son Miles.

The tribute tattoo comes weeks after Teigen broke her social media silence to assure fans she's doing okay. "We are quiet but we are okay. Love you all so much," she wrote at the time.

As fans know, Teigen and Legend have been grieving the loss of their 20-week-old child, a son named Jack, who they lost in late-September. Days before receiving the devastating news, the Cravings author had to be hospitalized after suffering excessive bleeding from her placenta and experiencing a “huge blood clot” during her pregnancy that required blood transfusions.

Nearly a month after the loss, Teigen penned a heartbreaking essay for Medium recalling the devastating experience.

"I wrote this because I knew for me I needed to say something before I could move on from this and return back to life, so I truly thank you for allowing me to do so,” she wrote. “Jack will always be loved, explained to our kids as existing in the wind and trees and the butterflies they see. Thank you so much to every single person who has had us in their thoughts or gone as far as to send us your love and stories. We are so incredibly lucky.”
