Nikki McKibbin was a contestant on season 1 of American Idol and she placed third behind Justin Guarini who came in second and Kelly Clarkson who won the title of American Idol! Nikki passed away today at the age of 42 due to a brain aneurysm. So sad. RIP Nikki
