The toilet paper limits strike again!

H-E-B is once again placing a limit on paper products, which have proven to be some of the most coveted necessities of 2020.

The San Antonio-based grocery store chain updated a list of product purchase limits which include many household items.

The list states that toilet paper and paper towels will be limited to two packages per customer.

These limits include stores in San Antonio, Border, Central Texas, and Gulf Coast regions.

Dya Campos, Director of Government and Public Affairs, told KSAT, "Limits are a proven way to stabilize the supply chain and we utilize this temporary tool to prevent supply disruption which could impact availability."

Other items with limits include:

  • Brisket- two per customer
  • disinfecting and antibacterial sprays- two per customer
  • disinfecting and antibacterial wipes- four per customer
  • hydrogen peroxide- two per customer
  • rubbing alcohol and alcohol swabs- two per customer
  • first aid and cleaning gloves- two per customer
  • trial and travel size disinfectant wipes and sprays- two per customer

Similar limits were placed on these items at H-E-B and other chain stores like Walmart and Target at the beginning of the global coronavirus pandemic to keep shelves stocked.
