Sir Sean Connery passed away at the age of 90.

According to a statement from his publicist on Saturday, Connery "died peacefully in his sleep."

Connery played Bond for seven movies, starting with the first in the franchise, Dr. No.

Connery was also known for his work in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Rock, and 1987's The Untouchables, for which he won an Oscar.
