Wolfgang Van Halen is calling out what he says are more hurtful rumors and dishonesty in the wake of his father Eddie Van Halen's death last month from cancer.

On Saturday, Wolfgang shared a photo of a recent issue of Us Weekly with his mother Valerie Bertinelli's photo on the cover, next to the headline "Valerie Bertinelli's Untold Story: Love, Loss & Staying Strong."

A pair of sub-headlines read, "Secrets of her dangerous marriage to Eddie Van Halen" and "Her dark past revealed: How she found peace at 60."

"F--k this, and f--k you Us Weekly," Wolfie wrote in a Tweet accompanying the photo of the magazine cover. "The only thing printed in this piece of toilet paper that's true is that we all loved my father. This is not a new interview. My mother did not speak to them for this."

In anticipation of his followers' reaction, Wolfie added that he won't ignore outlets who "publish lies and make my family's tragedy someone else's entertainment."

After confirming his father's death on October 6, the Van Halen bassist has largely stayed off social media, except to dispel a flimsy rumor suggesting he was going to lead a Van Halen reunion with Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony.

Wolfie called the theory a "sh---y lie attempting to capitalize on these awful times" and urged Van Halen fans to stop making things up about the band and his family.
