Premiere Party For Paramount Network's "Yellowstone" Season 2 - Arrivals

2020's popular TV show, Yellowstone, used some familiar North Texas spots for next season's filming.

The show stars Kevin Costner and is a bout a cattle ranching family. It is co-created and produced by North Texas native Taylor Sheridan, so it's no surprise that a few scenes were filmed in the area.

Local residents were thrilled about the experience.

Mary Anderson, owner of Mary's Brazos Cafe in Parker County, stated, "I couldn't believe it was actually happening."

Anderson wrote on the cafe's Facebook page, "Sooo... This happened today:) Yellowstone was at the cafe for a scene shoot. They were a very hard working and very sweet crew. Watch next season in June for us, it was a very exciting day for us all!"

Anderson said that people were lined up to see the action. "The street on the other side was lined up with my customers watching and trying to see what was going on. It was awesome."

Sheridan told NBC DFW, "I chose Mary's because that's where we have breakfast when I'm here. I spent a lot of time at horse shows and rodeo and whatnot, so I was kinda raised at Will Rogers and obviously the Stockyard; everyone's gone there. I didn't discover Mary's until a few years ago, at least Mary's down here on the Brazos and sure like her and her place."

Sheridan didn't reveal details about the scene, but the restaurant's name will stay.

Yellowstone airs on the Paramount network. Look out for the local eatery when season four airs in June of 2021.
