Britney Spears Responds To Fans Concerned About Her Health

Fans are worried about Britney Spears’ health.

The superstar, who is typically very active on social media, has troubled fans after suddenly going quiet on Instagram for longer than normal. For the past two weeks, Spears has not shared a post, video or an Instagram Story on her account, which became the cause for concern for her millions of followers on social media.

“Britney Spears hasn’t posted in 2 weeks, this isn’t usual. I hope that she’s okay and just taking a break,” one user tweeted.

Someone else suggested, "If britney doesn't post tomorrow… we should trend 'where is britney' because she usually would have posted by now so something is up."

Hearing all the talk surrounding her absence, the “Toxic” singer finally returned to Instagram on Monday (November 2) in a video, assuring fans that she’s “the happiest” she’s ever been.

"Hi. So I know that there have been a lot of comments and a lot of people saying a lot of different things about me, but I just want to let you guys know that I am fine," Spears says in the clip. "I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life."

The 38-year-old concluded, "I'm sending all of you guys a lot of prayers, wishes, and a lot of love.”

Even so, some fans were not convinced by the video and even insinuated that the clip was pre-recorded.

“We are concerned for some really legit reasons 🥺🥺 Is it a pre-taped video⁉️” one user commented under the clip.

“Man she looks terrified to me,” someone else said of the video, in which another fan pointed out, “The hands tell otherwise.”

When Spears followed the video with a pair of pictures — one of which was taken “3 months ago” — users found those suspicious as well.

“Same pics again and again…” one fan commented, as another user wrote, “Honey there is obviously something very wrong…”

Spears’ latest statement and posts come weeks after she was granted permission to expand her legal team in her ongoing conservatorship case against her father, Jamie Spears.
