As of Tuesday morning, Local 10 reported that 831,678 Broward residents have voted before Election Day. The website said 466,967 casted mail-in ballots, while 364,711 voted early. Over 1 million voters casted their ballots in Miami-Dade County early. Monroe County had 37,247 residents mail-in their ballots or voted early before Tuesday.
Depending on the outcome of some local races, history could be made in two South Florida congressional districts.
Experts overall are expecting huge voter turnout nationwide on Tuesday. Over 9 million Florida residents have voted ahead of Election Day. President Donald Trump and Former Vice President Joe Biden made frequent stops in South Florida, and experts are keeping their eye on the Sunshine State since it is a swing state.
