AP: Mark Kelly To Win Arizona's U.S Senate Seat Beating Martha McSally

Retired astronaut & Democratic candidate Mark Kelly, is projected to win a United States Senate seat for Arizona, according to the Associated Press. Kelly ran against Senator Martha McSally. McSally campaigned to keep her Senate seat appointed to in 2018 following the death of Senator John McCain.

Kelly is the husband of Gabby Giffords, a former member of the United States House of Representatives.

In 2012, Gabby Giffords was shot during a political event in Tucson suffering a severe brain injury.
