Nicki Minaj Talks About Raising Her Son Without A Nanny

Nicki Minaj is giving her newborn son undivided attention without the assistance of a nanny for the time being.

On Friday (November 6), the rap titan took to Twitter to respond to a fan who pondered why Minaj hasn't hired a nanny to help her tend to her first child with husband, Kenneth Petty. "Why Nicki can't be a normal celebrity and get a nanny. Girl I miss you," the fan wrote, to which the star responded, "Everyone tells me that. Lol. I rlly should get one. Difficult decision tho."

When another fan showed the rapper love for not hiring a nanny, Minaj seemed to appreciate the sentiment by liking the message. "It’s your first child, I totally understand if you don’t want to have a nanny," the user wrote, adding, "Take in every moment and get a nanny when you need one @NICKIMINAJ."

Even though she's unsure about getting help, Minaj shared her excitement for the moment when she gets to introduce her newborn to the Barbz. "Imagine being @NICKIMINAJ ‘s baby and having to share your mom with the barbz," one fan tweeted. "Lol Can’t wait til he meets you guys," she responded. "I wonder if he’ll like yall? He’s prob gonna be so confused at first. Like why yall so loud? That lady ain’t nobody she just my mom."
