A routine traffic stop in Arizona ended with an arrest of an accused drug dealer. The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office discovered fentanyl hidden in a cup of coffee.

On October 28th, a YCSO deputy stopped a silver car for a moving violation. During the conversation with the driver, the sheriff became suspicious and said the driver seemed like he could have been in the possession of drugs.

Deputies say that 24-year-old Nathaniel Wolf became "very argumentative and initially refused to let them search the car."

As the deputies waited for the K-9 unit to arrive, Wolf became ill. AZ Family reports that Wolf complained of chest pains but denied having taken anything.

Paramedics were called and Wolf was taken to a nearby hospital.

The K-9 unit had arrived and alerted the deputies to the odor of illicit narcotics inside of the vehicle. A store-bought cup of coffee was found during the search. When the coffee was poured out, deputies found a container of 30 fentanyl pills and a piece of foil with fentanyl residue.

Wolf was arrested when he was released from the hospital. He had been on probation and was booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center. He is being held on a $35,000 bond and faces charges of possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
