Several country superstars have already confirmed their participation in Tracy Lawrence's annual Thanksgiving event and concert benefitting the homeless.
Tim McGraw, Chris Young, Cole Swindell, John Rich, Mitchell Tenpenny, David Tolliver and others have already been confirmed to join Lawrence's annual turkey fry and benefit concert to help the homeless this year, FOX 17 News reports. Lawrence will continue frying turkeys for Nashville Rescue Mission as part of 'Mission: Possible Turkey Fry and Benefit Concert' for the 15th consecutive year in 2020.
Lawrence and Nashville Rescue Mission will begin frying the turkeys on Tuesday, November 24. Last year, a total of 500 turkeys were fried in an effort to help feed homeless people in Middle Tennessee on Thanksgiving, FOX 17 News reports.
The benefit concert will take place at Wildhorse Saloon on November 24 at 7:00 p.m. and be livestreamed free to the public due to concerns over the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Fans will be able to make donations and purchase merchandise.
Lawrence began participating in 'Mission: Possible Turkey' in 2000 and the event, which has raised nearly $1 million for the Nashville Rescue Mission and included more than 6,400 turkeys fried to help 93,000 homeless individuals in Middle Tennessee since its inception, FOX 17 News reports.
