Drake's new album, Certified Lover Boy, drops at the top of 2021, but the hip-hop heavyweight has shared some more details about the set and it seems as if it might not be a fan favorite.

Over the weekend, the on-the-mend rapper jumped into his dad Dennis Graham's Instagram Live session and responded to one comment from a fan about his upcoming LP. In the comment, the user sent love to the rapper’s fourth studio album, Views, and the superstar thought the 2016 effort was comparable to his upcoming effort, so he said just that. "They hated on Views just like they will [Certified Lover Boy]," Drake replied, adding, "but it’s music to evolve to."

Certified Lover Boy, which follows his 2020 mixtape, Dark Lane Demo Tapes, was originally scheduled to drop over the summer. The album saw its lead single, "Laugh Now Cry Later," released in August. In conjunction with the project, the rapper also announced a Nike capsule collection, which includes bomber jackets, hoodies and t-shirts with the "CLB" logo.
