At the end of October, Lori Loughlin began serving her two month prison sentence for her involvement in the college admissions bribery scandal. Despite her short sentence, the Fuller House actress is reportedly “struggling” as she serves her time.

According to an In Touch source close to Loughlin, the actresses “misses her family and her comfortable life” after less than two weeks behind bars. “Lori is trying to keep her head low and just get through this ordeal,” the insider shared. “She’s been able to make calls and send emails, all monitored … every second feels like a lifetime in there.”

“Lori is hating life inside prison,” the source continued. “Her first days there were dreadful.”

Though Loughlin received a short sentence for her involvement in the scandal, it's possible she'll receive an early release. Fellow actress Felicity Huffman only served 11 days of her 14 day sentence at the same facility.

TMZ reports Loughlin will be released from prison on Sunday, December 27. According to the Bureau of Prisons, however, if an inmate’s release date falls on a weekend or legal holiday, they can be released on the last preceding weekday. This means Loughlin could be released on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

Should Loughlin's facility suffer a COVID-19 outbreak, the actress could be granted an “early compassionate release." This would likely see her sentence end even before Christmas.
