ThunderRidge's Cale Lansville Officially Signs To Play College Ball At LSU

On Wednesday, November 11, athletes across the country signed their National Letters of Intent, agreeing to continue their athletic career in college programs.
One high school baseball player from Douglas County joined the list of 2020 Fall Signees on Wednesday.
ThunderRidge High School pitcher, Cale Lansville has officially signed to continue playing baseball next year at Louisiana State University.
"LSU is at the peak of college baseball and knowing that opportunity was going to be given to me is truly an honor," said Lansville to Fox 31. "It is an incredible opportunity to play in the SEC and every four years LSU is in the College World Series."
Lansville was recruited with years left in his high school career. He committed to continuing his academic and baseball career with the LSU Tigers back in the Spring of 2018.

Throughout his three years of varsity baseball at ThunderRidge, Lansville made a name for himself with an 1.51 ERA with 223 strikeouts in 175 innings, according to Fox 31.
Lansville was recently featured in Stadium Talk's "Best High School Baseball Player in Every State," representing Colorado.
He also played in the 2020 Perfect Game All-American Classic and the 2020 National Showcase in Alabama, which is the most prestigious showcase event in amateur baseball. Many former participants have been drafted by the MLB.
Lansville will graduate from ThunderRidge High School in 2021.
