If there's one thing you can count on for Thanksgiving, it's great food. But what's the best food to you, especially depending on where you live? Well, that's what career resource website Zippia set out to do.

The company released their findings on the most popular Thanksgiving dish side by state in America. Zippia analyzed Google Trends to see what residents were craving in late November last year.

For Washington State, that dish is... mashed potatoes! Residents are not along in that sentiment, either. "47 states want their sides carby, cheesy, potato-y and delicious," according to the website. Potatoes in any form are a classic side dish, but you can't go wrong with mash.

What about their neighbors? Well, for Oregon, they prefer biscuits. Idaho residents tend to like green bean casserole. For a little farther south, and you'll see Californians and Nevadans prefer mashed potatoes, as well! Only three states that cared more for veggies than carbs: Iowa, Maine and Kansas.
