WATCH: Man Attacked, Struck by Dirt Bike, ATV Riders In Boston Street

Surveillance video captured a man being violently assaulted by a group of people riding dirt bikes and all-terrain vehicles in South Boston earlier this week.

The Boston Department is seeking assistance in its investigation into the assault and shared surveillance footage of the incident on its official website Thursday.

The department said it received a radio call for a pedestrian struck in the area of Dorchester Street and West 4th Street in South Boston at around 8:09 p.m. on Monday (November 9). Officers arrived at the scene and made contact with a man who claimed he was assaulted by several unknown men riding dirt bikes and all-terrain vehicles.

The victim said the individuals punched and kicked him, knocking him to the ground and continued to run him over, causing injuries to his arms, shoulders, back and head. The victim said the suspects then fled the area.

Police said the victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the incident and is seeking assistance from any individual with facts and circumstances surrounding the assault.
