If you want the sweet smell of a live Christmas tree in your home this year, there are plenty of farms in San Antonio to do just that.
Christmas tree farms grow trees to specifically allow for visitors to chop down their own tree to feature in their homes during the holidays.
Here are some Christmas tree farms in the San Antonio area if you want to live out your Hallmark movie moment this season:
- Devine Acres Farms- This farm opens on November 21st and is located at 944 FM 2200 W in Devine.
- Pipe Creek Christmas Tree Farm- This farm opens on November 23rd and is located at 805 Phil's Road in Pipe Creek.
- Seiler's Christmas Tree Farm- This farm opens on November 30th and is located at 4100 Jakes Colony Road in Seguin.
If you're worried about the trees going to waste, there are several ways that the trees can be recycled once the holidays are over.
In San Antonio, the Solid Waste Management Department will collect live trees and turn them into mulch, which is then provided free to the public.
For specific directions to each location, check their websites.
