2020 has been a rough year, so the magic of Christmas is being welcomed with open arms all across the globe.

A local Arizona town is about to come to life with a dazzling display of twinkling lights to kick off the Christmas season, and the best part is that its completely free to the public!

Glendale Glitters is the largest free holiday lights show in the whole state, boasting nearly two million glowing bulbs across 16 blocks.

Though the opening weekend festivities have been canceled, more lights and festive displays have been added to keep the magic illuminating the streets of Glendale and the hearts of local residents.

There is a "larger-than-life" Christmas tree in the Westgate Entertainment District as well as carriage rides throughout the streets.

There are numerous photo opportunities for friends and family to capture the spirit of the season.

Guests can stroll through the town square beginning the weekend of November 25th. The event will last through January 9th.

The event will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. nightly.
