Denver's Christkindl Market (DCM) is returning for its 20th annual celebration.
This year's market will come with a few modifications so "guests can safely shop for unique, finely crafted artisan gifts and holiday treats," according to DCM.
"In order to operate safely, the Denver Christkindl Market is adhering to state-sanctioned and CDC guidelines to protect our guests, vendors, entertainers, and staff," said the organizers in a press release.
The biggest modification is the venue. This year's DCM will be taking place along the promenade of Civic Center Park to allow for social distancing and other health guidelines.
According to their press release, the new move gives them 60,000-square-feet of room to keep groups of people six feet apart.
In addition, DCM is conducting contact tracing. All guests will need to sign in with their phones upon entrance for contact tracing purposes.
The market will also be laid out in a one-way directional flow. The market is asking guests to follow the arrows and other signage for guidance.
There will likely be longer lines this year, since the market is adhering to maximum capacity rules as deemed by the State of Colorado.
Guests will be allowed to enjoy authentic mulled spiced wine and traditional European pastries at the spaced out tables placed throughout the park. And entertainment will be housed on the Greek Amphitheater stage.
"In these times of uncertainty, it will be a welcome symbol of hope," executive director of Denver Park and Recreation Happy Haynes told 9NEWS.
DCM is open from Nov. 20 - Dec. 23. For specific times and dates, visit their official website.
