Cleanup is taking place after a FedEx truck with two trailers drove off the side of Interstate-10 and crashed into a barrier and sign just before midnight on Sunday night.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said that the incident was a possible hit-and-run.
Witnesses told DPS that they saw a Honda passenger car cut off the FedEx driver, causing the truck to jackknife and drive off of the interstate.
The semi truck went off the right side and hit a pole, splitting the cab of the truck in half.
AZ Family reports that the driver of the semi truck was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
Several FedEx workers showed up to the scene of the accident to retrieve all of the packages that were ejected from the truck at the time of the accident. Those workers told AZ Family that the driver was transported to the hospital with minor back injuries.
DPS said that the driver of the Honda has not been found yet.
The right lane and shoulder was closed while crews cleaned the scene of the accident.
