New health and safety guidelines for the coronavirus pandemic have made it difficult for restaurant, bar, and live music venue owners across America to stay up and running.
One Denver venue has managed to embrace these new restrictions and use them to create a unique experience for guests.
Number 38 features 24 taprooms, four open kitchens, and a stage for live bands to entertain guests. All of this takes place within 31,000 square feet of space.
"Think Nashville [or] Austin where you don't have to pay a cover or buy a ticket," one of the owners Spencer Fronc told 9NEWS. "You just walk in with your reservation then you're going to get a show while you're here."
With the live music industry at a standstill, Number 38 offers a way for bands to get gigs outside of small clubs that can't adhere to crowd capacity limits.
"People are dying to get outside right now, find a safe space where they can meet up with their friends who they've already been socializing with in their safe circles," Fronc continued. "We're just providing that outlet here."
In addition to the ample amount of outdoor space, what helps Number 38 feel safe is their touchless payment system.
Their wristband payment systems makes it so that guests only have to pull out their credit cards and IDs once. After guests have been given a wristband, they simply scan it each time they order.
The venue also schedules reservations in blocks to give staff time to clean the space.
"In between those slots we empty the entire facility and disinfect the entire space," said Fronc. "Nobody's sitting at that table before you show up."
Number 38 is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
