10-Year-Old Killed; 12-Year-Old, Adult Injured After Shots Fired Into Car

One child has died and two others, including another child, were injured after multiple shots were reportedly fired into a vehicle in Memphis.
Memphis Police said Richard Jordan, 10, was killed and a 12-year-old and adult were injured after three vehicles pulled beside the car they were traveling in and fired multiple gunshots, FOX 17 News reports. The 12-year-old and adult both reportedly survived their injuries sustained in the shooting.
Memphis Police said the incident occurred at around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday when three vehicles pulled up beside theirs at the intersection of Airways and Ketchum. The victims were inside the vehicle with their family and friends at the time of the shooting.

Jordan was transported to a local children's hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police confirmed to FOX 17 News. Police said the suspects fled the vehicles involved in the shooting traveled east on Kethchum from Airways after fleeing the scene.
The suspect vehicles were described by Memphis Police as a gold Chevrolet Malibu with missing hubcaps, a black Chrysler 300 and a gray sedan, FOX 17 News reports. No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting as of Wednesday morning.
