Charlotte Knights Offering Chance To Rent Out Suites

As the pandemic continues to keep employees working from home, people be growing tired of seeing the same four walls each and every day. If you're looking for a change of scenery, but still want to stay safe, the Charlotte Knights have just the plan for you.

The city's baseball team will now offer a chance to rent out one of the suites at Truist Field. According to WCNC, around 20 suites at the ballpark have been transformed into Christmas-themed office spaces that provide a festive background when "working from home (plate)."

"We've got all the technology, WIFI, TVs that you need, and what a better view to be able to look out your window and see the beautiful ballpark and field that we have," said Charlotte Knights COO Dan Rajkowski.

Suites can be rented between Monday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for $95 per day or $400 per week. The money will go toward the park, which was hit pretty hard by the pandemic.

"We missed an entire baseball season this year, and we've got to find ways for our employees to continue to work and be creative with this building," said Rajkowski.

Anyone renting a suite will be required to follow COVID-19 restrictions and sign a waiver. Visit the Work From Home (Plate) website for more information.
