These Arizona Cities Are In Top 15 For Lowest Cost Of Living In The US

In the midst of the ongoing global pandemic, budgets are tightening as residents look for ways to cut costs.
Move.com released a list of the top 15 cities with the lowest cost of living and Arizona held two of the top spots.
Tucson came in at number four on the list, with the average monthly living costs falling under $1,500.
Here is a breakdown of the average costs for Tucson residents:
- Utliities: $236.44
- Internet: $69.14
- Monthly gas: $114.32
- Rent (1-bedroom apartment): $780.91
- Food (per person): $297.54
- Total: $1,498.35
Mesa came in at number eight on the list, with the average monthly living costs falling under $1,600.
Here is a breakdown of the average costs for Mesa residents:
- Utilities: $153.19
- Internet: $70.00
- Monthly gas: $142.52
- Rent (1-bedroom apartment): $905.45
- Food (per person): $293.52
- Total: $1,564.68
According to the list, the most affordable city in the United States is El Paso, Texas, followed by Wichita, Kansas and Lincoln, Nebraska.
The city with the highest cost of living in the United States is San Francisco, California, followed by New York City, New York and Oakland, California.
