Tim McGraw Leaves The Cooking To Faith Hill On Thanksgiving

Tim McGraw might be a pretty good cook, but when it comes to Thanksgiving, he leaves the food prep to his wife Faith Hill. In a recent interview with his record label, the country star talked about his family's Thanksgiving traditions, sharing some of his favorite holiday dishes.

“For Thanksgiving, I don’t cook. Faith does all the cooking for Thanksgiving," he said. "We have to have turkey, we have to have our stuffing and we have to have cornbread and peas, of course.”

Aside from Thanksgiving, McGraw has spent more time than usual in the kitchen this year due to the fact that he hasn't been on the road due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"I crave stuff all the time. I love a great cheeseburger," he recently shared with his record label. "I mean, I'm a cheeseburger fanatic, but now it’s more turkey burgers than a real cheeseburger every now and then."

McGraw added, "Faith makes great fried chicken, so we've had fried chicken quite a few times and I make the mashed potatoes. We’ve had fried chicken and mashed potatoes quite a few times, and she makes the best roasted chicken that you can possibly imagine. And I make a pretty dang good country fried steak."

McGraw and Hill celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary last month. To mark the milestone in their relationship, McGraw turned to Instagram to share a sweet tribute to his wife. Set to the sound of his track, "Hard To Stay Mad At" from his recently released Here On Earth album, McGraw shared a slideshow of photos of the couple throughout their marriage.

The couple shares three daughters together- Gracie, 23, Maggie Elizabeth, 22, and Audrey Caroline, 18. Throughout quarantine, the girls have been able to spend plenty of time with their parents at home in Nashville.
