Bobby Brown is mourning the loss of another child, as his son, Bobby Jr., has died. He was 28.

The unfortunate news late last night (November 18) by TMZ, who learned via a source close to the family that Bobby Jr. was discovered dead at his home in the Los Angeles area earlier in the day. As yet, police, who were still at Bobby Jr.’s home at the time of the outlet’s report, do not believe foul play was involved in his death.

Bobby Jr., whose mother is Kim Ward — the woman Brown dated off and on for over a decade — was one of the legendary entertainer’s seven children.

He is the latest in a devastating series of losses for the iconic R&B entertainer, who previously lost his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, at the age of 22 years old when her lifeless body was found in the bathtub of her Georgia home in January 2015. Kristina, Bobby Jr.’s half-sister and the daughter of the late Whitney Houston, passed away in July of the same year after being on life support for several months. Her official cause of death was drowning while cannabis, alcohol and prescription anxiety and sedation medication were discovered in her body.

Brown’s daughter died in an eerily similar manner to his late ex-wife, Houston, who died by accidental drowning at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, with coronary artery disease and cocaine intoxication listed as contributing factors.

Bobby Jr.’s death comes 10 months after the Brown-Houston family lost another of its members with the passing of Nick Gordon, Kristina’s ex-lover, who died from a heroin overdose in January.

As yet, Brown has not released a statement regarding the devastating loss.
