Travis Scott's celebration of Travis Scott Day in Houston, Texas on Wednesday (November 18) saw the hip-hop titan launch his Cactus Jack Foundation.

As per a recent announcement, the organization is set to provide educational and creative resources for the next generation of youth, with its first initiative titled The HBCU Waymon Webster Scholarship program. The venture is named after Scott’s grandfather. The program is set to cover tuition fees for HBCU students this year. Among the lucky winners include students from Morehouse College, Howard University, Texas Southern University, his mother's alma mater Grambling State University and Prairie View A&M University, which his father attended.

"Waymon Webster was a Dean of the Prairie View A&M graduate school," the Astroworld rapper said in a statement. "My grandfather wanted me to take it all the way through college, I feel there is a power in education so to be able to give someone the opportunity to fulfill that dream as my papa thought for me is amazing."

Additionally, a multi-year partnership in Houston will see the Cactus Jack Gardens come to fruition. The community-based agriculture venture will give elementary students across the city the opportunity to learn agricultural economics and nutritional skills.

If that wasn't enough, Scott also unveiled a multi-year partnership with The New School's Parsons School of Design to spread fashion-based teachings to Houston high schoolers. "Parsons is proud to partner with Travis Scott's Cactus Jack Foundation to bring fashion education to high school students who have traditionally been underrepresented in creative disciplines," Rachel Schreiber, executive dean of The New School’s Parsons School of Design, said in a statement. “Parsons and Travis Scott share a deep commitment to educating young designers who are just beginning their exploration of fashion and design. We are excited to collaborate with the Cactus Jack Foundation to offer this immersive course led by Parsons award-winning faculty."
