Now that Thanksgiving is over, it's time to fully get into the holiday spirit.
Although this holiday season looks a bit different due to the coronavirus pandemic, Denver has managed to offer a range of holiday community events while keeping public health a priority.
Grab your mask and check out these holiday events in Denver throughout the next several weeks:
Denver's Christkindl Market is returning for its 20th celebration in a brand new location to allow for social distancing. With 60,000 square feet of space and contact tracing, residents can safely shop for unique hand crafted gifts and traditional European pastries.
When: Nov. 20 - Dec. 23, Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. and Sunday through Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
Where: Civic Center Park at 101 West 14th Ave.
21st Annual Festival of Wreaths
The Aurora Museum Foundation is hosting its annual "Festival of Wreaths" featuring wreathes decorated and sponsored by local businesses, organization, and community members. The event's proceeds will help ensure the continuation of the museum throughout the pandemic.
When: Nov. - Dec.11 from 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
Where: Aurora History Museum at 15051 E. Alameda Pkwy.
This attraction combines a theatrically re-created telling of classic holiday film The Polar Express and a train ride at the Colorado Railroad Museum.
