People are always looking for the special someone. The coronavirus pandemic sure hasn't made the hunt for love any easier for single people. Plus, dating tends to be expensive depending on where you live. So, which American cities make it easier or more difficult to find a partner?

WalletHub, a personal finance website, set out to answer that question. The website published an article Tuesday (December 1) looking at over 180 U.S. cities "across 32 key indicators of dating-friendliness. Our data set ranges from the share of the population that is single to the number of online dating opportunities to the average price for a two-person meal," Adam McCann wrote.

What about Seattle? Well, the Emerald City ranked at No. 33 overall among 182 other cities. According to the list, Seattle didn't fare to well when it came to "economics" category, or how much you're spending on a date. When it comes to "Fun & Recreation" however, it was in the Top 10 among cities. Seattle ranked in the Top 20 for "Dating Opportunities."

When it came to other Washington cities, Tacoma ranked at No. 71, Vancouver came in at No. 100, Spokane was placed at No. 109.

WalletHub also noted that online dating makes things easier in the wake of lockdowns and limited activities. Make what you will with this information and plan that next date, if you're looking!
