Las Vegas Is One Of The Best Cities In America For Singles

It can be hard to find love these days, especially during a global pandemic. Restaurants are closed and individuals are finding themselves strapped for cash.

A recent Wallethub study ranked Las Vegas the 97th best city in the nation for singles.

Las Vegas wasn't the only city in Nevada on the list, however. Reno was number 11 on the list, placing the highest out the the Nevada cities. North Las Vegas ranked number 147.

Madison, Wisconsin was named the best city in America for singles. Atlanta, Georgia and Denver, Colorado came in second and third, respectively. Salt Lake City, Utah and Columbia, South Carolina rounded out the top five.

To determine the list, Wallethub compared 182 cities across three key dimensions: economics, fun and recreation, and dating opportunities.

The three key dimensions were then evaluated using 32 relevant metrics including things such as restaurant meal costs, movie costs, number of attractions, restaurants per capita, share of single population, mobile dating opportunities, and "most active Tinder users."
