These Arizona Cities Are Among The Best In America For Singles

It can be hard to find love these days, especially during a global pandemic. Restaurants are closed and individuals are finding themselves strapped for cash.

A recent Wallethub study ranked the best cities in the nation for singles.

Tempe was ranked the 10th best city for singles, and placed the highest among the Arizona cities on the list.

Here is how the other Arizona cities ranked on the list:

• Tucson- number 13
• Chandler- number 34
• Phoenix- number 47
• Scottsdale- number 53
• Glendale- number 61
• Mesa- number 78
• Gilbert- number 122
• Peoria- number 153

Madison, Wisconsin was named the best city in America for singles. Atlanta, Georgia and Denver, Colorado came in second and third, respectively. Salt Lake City, Utah and Columbia, South Carolina rounded out the top five.

To determine the list, Wallethub compared 182 cities across three key dimensions: economics, fun and recreation, and dating opportunities.

The three key dimensions were then evaluated using 32 relevant metrics including things such as restaurant meal costs, movie costs, number of attractions, restaurants per capita, share of single population, mobile dating opportunities, and "most active Tinder users."
