On Thanksgiving, Courteney Cox recreated one of her most iconic scenes from Friends. In the season 5 episode titled 'The One With All The Thanksgivings,' Monica dances around with a raw turkey on her head in attempt to make up with Chandler after a big fight. Over the weekend, Cox shared a behind-the-scenes video about how a person actually goes about getting a raw turkey over their head.

"Happy Thanksgiving everyone, I hope you’re having a great day," Cox says in the first video, which she posted on Instagram. "I’m feeling so thankful, and also, if I get one more goddamn GIF with that turkey on my head dancing like a f----g fool, I’m just gonna snap."

"So anyhow, since I’m the symbol of Thanksgiving, here you go, hope it makes you happy," Cox continued before recreating the iconic moment. The 56-year-old actress put an actual raw turkey on her head and even danced around her kitchen to the Friends theme song.

On Sunday (December 6), Cox gave her followers a behind-the-scenes look at how she recreated the scene, which she called the "gross truth." With her head wrapped in plastic and towels, Cox attempts to shove her head in the raw turkey. "Wait, it really hurts," Cox can be heard saying. "So disgusting ... this hurts like a m----rf----r!"

"Hold on! I can't breathe!" Cox says through laughter. "Who's got the behind the scenes footage?"

Unsurprisingly, Cox's comments section was flooded with comments from her friends and followers. "Ok [you are] super funny," Julianne Moore wrote. "This is so damn funny," Tan France added.

With the Friends reunion special on the horizon, we'll have to see if Cox has any more hijinks up her sleeve over the next few months.
