Dionne Warwick is music royalty, so when the industry legend jokingly came for The Weeknd and Chance the Rapper via Twitter, it only brought the laughs.

On Saturday (December 5), Warwick, 79, had some questions about some of today’s hottest and took to Twitter to share her stream of consciousness. "Hi, @chancetherapper. If you are very obviously a rapper why did you put it in your stage name? I cannot stop thinking about this," she tweeted, before revealing that she would be changing her stage name to Dionne the Singer as Chance and Justin Bieber's "Holy" is one of her current favorites. "Sorry I’m still freaking out that u know who I am,” the rapper replied, adding. "This is amazing!"

"Of course I know you. You’re THE rapper. Let’s rap together. I’ll message you," Warwick wrote in a follow-up tweet, to which he responded, "I will be whatever you wanna call me Ms Warwick. God bless you."

Afterwards, Dionne turned her attention towards The Weeknd, declaring, "The Weeknd is next. Why? It’s not even spelled correctly? @theweeknd. If you have 'The' in your name i’m coming for you. I need answers today." Naturally, The Weeknd was overjoyed with the shout-out, writing, "I just got roasted by Dionne Warwick and I feel honored! You just made my day."

Earlier in the week, Warwick also showed some love to Taylor Swift, writing, "Hi @taylorswift13. I hope you’re in good spirits and having a wonderful day. Keep your head high!" The pop titan replied to the message to send her apologies for her late, but sweet response. "I just saw that you tweeted me!! I’m a huge fan and I respect you so much, thank you for wishing me well. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season, thank you for spreading joy," she replied.
