A man did what I hope ANY pet owner would do, fought off a bear to save his fur child!
Kaleb Benham took on a 350-pound bear that was attacking his pitbull "Buddy". The bear had Buddy's head in his mouth, and was dragging him off. When Kaleb realized what was happening, he charged at the bear, tackled it, and saved Buddy's life.
According to CBS Sacramento:
Benham said Buddy was outside playing near his home when something just didn’t sound right. Buddy had come face to face with a 350-pound bear.
A man’s love for man’s best friend is a powerful force. Kaleb Benham from Grass Valley took on a 350 pound bear that was attacking his rescue dog, “Buddy.” Kaleb said he heard a growl the saw the bear dragging buddy “by his head.” So he tackled the bear and punched it pic.twitter.com/XAhTrS2AEC
