Ready For Santa? Here's How You Can Interact With Him Safely In Seattle

Here comes Santa! The jolly big man in red is back to bring holiday cheer in a troubling year. The coronavirus pandemic has put the brakes on some beloved traditions and events, but don't worry, Santa's not going anywhere. In fact, you can still see him safely. Organizers for Santa photo-ops and meet-ups have incorporated COVID-19 safety rules, from socially distanced poses to virtual visits. Here are some opportunities to see Santa in the Seattle area.

Snowflake Lane Factory: Bellevue Square Santa

Organizers said there will be social distancing for photographs, and Santa will be wearing a mask. It's going on now through December 24, and the times vary depending on the day. There will also be a variety of activities available for guests, including VR selfies and the Gingerbread Candy Shoppe. You can find out more about their safety protocols here.

Redmond Town Center

Parents and kids will have five options for their Santa this year. Mask rules and social distancing will be enforced along with CDC guidelines. You can also make an online reservation. Redmond will have Santa around until December 24. Times vary depending on the day. Here's a list of their COVID

NW Santa Portraits At Mill Creek Town Center

Meetings with Santa will be appointment-only and will have socially distanced poses. They also have more COVID-19 safety guidelines for visitors.

Issaquah Reindeer Festival At Cougar Mountain Zoo

What's better than meeting Santa? Seeing his reindeer, too. You can snap photos with the Big Guy from December 1 to 23, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. He'll return from December 26 to 30, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Click here for Cougar Mountain Zoo's COVID-19 safety protocols. Not only can you do in-person photos, but Santa can snap pics with you virtually! You can make your reservations here. If you're seeing him in-person, face coverings will be required. There will be no contact.
