It's Christmas time in the city and Brett Young is helping to make the holidays a little brighter by releasing his version of, “Silver Bells” due everywhere on December 11th.

While we wait patiently for the country classic's arrival. Brett spilled the Christmas culture tea Cody Alan, revealing the biggest differences that he notices during the holiday season after growing up in Anaheim, California and now living in Nashville.

“I love Christmas,” says the “In Case You Didn’t Know” singer. “It’s been an interesting adjustment because Christmas has always been 75 degrees for me. Now it’s like ‘real Christmas.’ We got snow in Nashville last week! The adjustment to the weather has been different, but also seems fitting.”

Brett enjoys buttoning up for the brisk Nashville winter, and with the arrival of his daughter in 2019, the 2020 Christmas season is looking very bright.

“What was your favorite Christmas gift when you were a kid?” Cody asks.

“My parents were awesome. We didn’t have a ton of money,” Brett glows with excitement. “They were always great with their giving. They had really thoughtful gifts and I was obsessed with old school Nintendo. Do you remember “Kung Fu” on Nintendo? Like, the worst, not good graphics,” laughs the country singer. “I think I stopped what I was doing, stopped opening gifts, and played “Kung Fu” for the rest of the morning!”
