Armed robberies of Amazon delivery drivers continue in Cleveland, the Fox 8 I-Team reported Thursday evening (December 10).

Earlier on Thursday, an Amazon delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint on East 154th Street. The driver was unharmed, and it was not immediately clear whether the stolen truck has been recovered or whether there have been any arrests at this time, the I-Team noted.

The incident on East 154th Street marks the third armed Amazon carjacking in Cleveland in recent weeks.

On November 25, two armed robberies happened within hours of one another in the same area. The first happened around 3:45 p.m. near Chester Avenue, and the other happened about two hours later on East 80th Street.

Those trucks were later recovered. The first truck stolen on November 25 was found with 53 stolen packages in it. The other was later found stuck in mud in an East 76th Street field. Cleveland police are searching them for any clues that could lead to the culprits. Investigators are also working to determine a possible connection between the incidents.

Amazon arranged to “make things right” with the customers whose packages were stolen in the robberies, according to a spokesperson.
